ARTICLE III AUTHORITY AND JURISDICTION

SECTION 1. AUTHORITY.

The Regulations set forth herein are adopted under authority of state statutes and in accordance with the adopted Land Use Plan for the City of Garden Plain, Kansas.

SECTION 2. JURISDICTION.

These Regulations shall apply to all structures and land within the incorporated area of the City of Garden Plain, Kansas.

SECTION 3. NOTICE TO THE COUNTY.

Whenever amendments to the text of these Regulations or to the Zoning District Map are proposed that will affect property located outside the corporate boundary of the City of Garden Plain (for example proposed annexation of properties), written notice of such proposed action shall be given to the Governing Body of the county at least 20 days prior to the proposed action.
