A CHARTER ORDINANCE ELECTING THE CITY OF GARDEN PLAIN, KANSAS TO BE SUBJECT TO THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-1801 THROUGH K.S.A. 12-1816, AS AMENDED AND REPEALING CHARTER ORDINANCE NO. 11.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF GARDEN PLAIN, KANSAS:

SECTION 1. The City of Garden Plain, Kansas, by the power vested in it by Article 12, Section 5 of the Kansas Constitution previously, in Charter Ordinance 11, elected to exempt itself from and make inapplicable to itself K.S.A. 12-1801 through K.S.A. 12-1816, as amended, relating to sidewalks.

SECTION 2. The governing body believes it advisable to now subject the City to the provisions of K.S.A. 12-1801 through K.S.A. 12-1816, as amended, relating to sidewalks.

SECTION 3. The City of Garden Plain, Kansas, hereby repeals Charter Ordinance 11.
